10 pictures on the 10th day of the month. Finding life and beauty in the ordinary things of our day to day!
Check out last month’s post here.
Here is a sneak peek of our day!
Normally hubby and I switch off on the weekends so each of us get to sleep in at least one day. Hubby usually gets Saturdays and I get Sunday to sleep in, but Sarah was calling him so he got up to tend to her. I quickly texted my friend Cheryl to wish her a happy birthday and went back to bed.
TWO glorious hours later I woke up and unloaded the dishwasher. We run this thing once or twice a day. Definitely my favorite electronic we own!
After some couch time with Sarah and hubby I headed to my room to get ready for the day. I’m loving my new Stella & Dot make up bag. I love anything and everything to do with bows, so I had to have this after attending my friends, Natisse’s Stella & Dot party.
I met up with my girlfriends at a nearby parking lot so that we can carpool to my friend Cheryl’s birthday party. Through out the car ride, I was eying my friend Nicole’s bag. I loved the soft pink color and the texture. It looks so comfy so I decided to take a picture.
Cheryl’s birthday party was not only at a super cute winery it was also picnic style. I brought a Quinoa Bake to share (recipe coming soon).
It was such a fun afternoon! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cool and easy going, and like always, my friends were fun to be around.
Happy birthday Cheryl! Love you and your outgoing personality. xoxo
Once I arrived home I received an early Mother’s Day delivery of flowers and chocolate. I absolutely love flowers (and chocolates)! Every time I walk by flowers on my dining room table I can’t help but smile.
Thanks babe for the early gift! Love you and our little luli!
After playing with Sarah for a bit, I got in the kitchen and started to prep dinner. While prepping for dinner I kept glancing as hubby and Sarah played outside. I really enjoy my window in the kitchen and hope to have one in our next home.
I made Fried Rice to go with the leftovers we had in the fridge.
After dinner, more outside play and bath I read Sarah a couple of books and put her down for the night.
I had along day and was super tired, I got in bed early (for me) and took one last look at Sarah, prayed and then went to sleep.
Hope you had a nice 10th!
