San Francisco

In 2019 we traveled to San Francisco, but never got a chance to blog about it.

My family met up with my aunt Aline, uncle Rony and cousin Shay from Israel. We had a lovely trip!

Day 1

We took the short 50 minute flight from LAX to OAK airport.

The pilots were so sweet to let our kids check out all their buttons and controls.

On this trip we brought Jacob’s car seat. Since we were renting a car this time we brought ours instead of renting from the rental company. We tried that once and the car seats were old and dirty. We just brings ours in this bag and it’s an easy transition for our kids.

In our rental and on the road ready to explore! The bridges in the Bay Area are so cool! First up is Bay Bridge.

Of course the most known bridge is Golden Gate Bridge.

We checked in to our hotel, The Westin St. Francis on Union Square and met up with my family.

Our hotel had such beautiful views!

Child actor, Shirley Temple even stayed here.

We grabbed lunch at Super Duper Burgers. What a fun spot and the burgers were delicious!

We found a park and hung out for a bit. So fun meeting up with family and exploring together.

We walked around a bit until we spotted a robotic coffee machine called Cafe x. It makes your coffee for you and dances while you wait So fun!

Kids got milk while I got iced coffee! So good!

We love to taste new things so we walked by Beard Papa’s we had to try their cream puffs.

What a beautiful day in a beautiful city!

We explored some more. We found these cool water steps in front of a museum.

For dinner we checked out Uncle Vito Pizzeria. So good!

We even got to watch them make our pizza. The kids loved it!

We called it a night and headed back to our hotel. Gosh the views are gorgeous from our room!

Day 2

We started the day off with a ride on the famous cable cars!

Check out my brave girl!

We took the cable car all the way down to Fisherman’s Wharf. They had some stationed cable cars for those who wanted to take pictures.

For lunch we stopped at Fishermen’s Wharf and ate at Boudin Bread Factory.

After lunch we took the factory tour inside the bakery.

Our adventure for the day was the hop on and off tour bus. We prepaid our tickets in our hotel.

It took us on the Golden Gate Bridge and a few other stops.

We hopped off and explored!

Next on the tour was the painted ladies! These houses were on the Full House opening scenes.

Back on the bus and our little dude was ready for a nap.

Hubby switched off with me for a bit so I could walk around with my family.

Jacob woke up in time for ice cream at Ghirardelli.

After dessert we walked around the beach and enjoyed the sunset.

Back on the bus and on the way to our hotel we decided to eat in our rooms and picked up food from Delarosa.

Dinner, tv and snuggles after a long day of walking.

I headed home on another adventure while my hubby, kids and family from Israel stayed a couple more days. They went to silicone valley, Yosemite and went back to Pier 39.

Thank you for the memories San Francisco!
