What’s Up Wednesday {January 2019}

I’m linking up with Shay and Sheaffer for some random monthly fun.

What we’re eating this week…

While on the plane last week I came across a recipe for Fennel Citrus Roasted Chicken in a magazine. It was delish!

What I’m reminiscing about…

Spending 5 days with my family in Florida after my sister gave birth to her beautiful baby boy!

What I’m loving…

Jacob got back into gymnastics and I’m loving watching how much fun he is having.

What we’ve been up to…

It’s been super cold (low 30’s) and rainy. Sometimes J and I park outside of Sarah’s school and just watch movies in the car while it rains. We love the sound of rain and have fun getting cozy.

What I’m dreading…

The hot temperatures! I love winter!

What I’m working on…

Our Spring Break plans. Can’t to travel again!

What I’m excited about…

After a very long and exhausting 3 months Jacob’s preschool opened back up. Due to the Woolsey fires they had to do extensive renovations, which unfortunately took a little longer then expected. He’s so happy to be back at his “old school”. So thankful for his teachers and the sweet pictures they post online.

What I’m watching/reading…

Thanks to my new smart tv I’ve been watching a lot of new shows. Check out my Netflix & Chill post here. My current favorite is Riverdale.

What I’m listening to…

I’ve been listening to Podcasts lately. My favorites are LA Cicks with my friend Sarah, Weekly Dose of BS with the girls from Housewives of Dallas and Rachel Hollis’ Rise.

What I’m wearing…

My Ugg boots on repeat. Eek it’s so cold!

What I’m doing this weekend…

Hubby and I are going to do a lot of dividing and conquering this weekend. Sarah is going to do her first Girl Scout cookie booth and Jacob is going to a birthday party.

What I’m looking forward to next month…

Valentine’s Day with my sweethearts.

What else is new…

Now that Sarah is a Girl Scout she selling cookies in neighborhood. It’s been so fun and a great learning experience for Sarah.

Question of the month is: What’s your favorite family Valentine’s Day traditions?

We have a family dinner with a decorated dining room table, we send Valentine’s, send Cards For Hospitalized Kids and I make them cutesy lunches on Valentine’s Day.

Happy Wednesday!
