Newborn to 3 Months Baby Favorites

With so many family members and friends asking me what some of my favorites items are for baby I thought I’d share my Newborn to 3 Months Favorites here.

Chicco Key Fit Car Seat: This car seat is super easy to use. The base latches onto the hooks in your car and then the car seat clicks into the base. It also comes with a newborn insert for extra comfort.chicco car seatSnap N Go Stroller: I love this stroller! It’s lightweight and easy to use. It’s great for the first few months when baby falls asleep in the car seat.41INc5DiItL._SX425_

Stroller Cover: Since my baby was born in the spring I didn’t want to overheat him with a traditional stroller cover. Thanks to my friend (who takes orders) for making this awesome, light weight and breathable cover.IMG_9350

Moby Wrap: When you don’t/can’t push baby in the stroller carrying them is a great option. This option is especially great for when baby wants to be held but you have things to do. It’s also great for preemies as other carriers require multiple pieces for small babies. I loved carrying my second child in this. I was able to be close to him while playing with my daughter.Screen Shot 2015-08-17 at 9.00.08 PMRock n’ Play: We made a mistake and had our first child in a pack n play. It was too big to move from room to room and left our newborn with too much space (something they don’t like the first 3 months). It also turns out putting babies in an incline is preferred. This bed worked wonders for us and where baby slept for almost 4 months! Due to its compact size, it’s easy to move from room to room. It has an incline and feels like you are being cradled. If baby was fussy we gently rocked the bed without having to get out of bed. It also has a vibration option that can be used. Screen Shot 2015-08-17 at 5.29.18 PM

SwaddleMe Wraps: These wraps were the only way to get our babies to sleep. It keeps them cozy while mimics the feeling of being in the womb. The Velcro also makes getting baby in and out easily. No wrapping or instructions needed. The colors and prints are also lot’s fun!Screen Shot 2015-08-17 at 5.40.11 PM

Aden + Anais Swaddle Blankets: These blankets are amazing! They get softer with each wash, they are breathable and the patterns are super fun. I use this a blanket, car seat cover, nursing cover and even a burp cloth. I just love them!Screen Shot 2015-08-17 at 5.44.55 PM

Fisher Price Snugabunny Cradle ‘n Swing: This cozy and plush swing is amazing. It swings baby side-to-side like a cradle or swings head-to-toe like a traditional baby swing. Between the light colored fabric and the sweet sounds of nature it doesn’t stand out like all the other baby toys. Choose between plugging it in or 4D batteries. It also includes a mirror and a rattle. My babies loved looking up in the mirror where they would smile and giggle at themselves. You can add and remove hanging items to change things up for baby. It also has a reward system for when baby moves an object. Screen Shot 2015-08-17 at 8.13.23 PMRainforest Bouncer: Just like the Rainforest Gym, this bouncer is a lot of fun. The only difference is you can move this bouncer around to meet your needs. I brought this bouncer outside while my older daughter played. This way I was able to watch my baby while my toddler played at the same time. Screen Shot 2015-08-17 at 8.19.14 PM

NUK Pacifier: This dentist approved pacifier were my kids favorite. The scoop nipple cavity allows maximum tongue movement, which gently exercises your baby’s tongue, palate and jaw and promotes proper teeth alignment by helping your baby avoid thumb-sucking. Also the heart shaped shield fits perfectly under baby’s nose for easy breathing and less irritation.Screen Shot 2015-08-17 at 8.25.00 PMMunchkin Nursery Projector and Sound Machine: This machine is the perfect size. It’s small but has phenomenal functions. We use this as a nightlight and as sound machine. It also has a fun projector for when you need to stall things. Screen Shot 2015-08-17 at 8.37.57 PM

Summer Infant Mother’s Touch Baby Bathtub: This 3 position bath is small and fold-able. Perfect for the newborn stage when you don’t need to bathe a baby everyday. Screen Shot 2015-08-17 at 8.45.51 PMSkip Hop Grab and Go Wet/Dry Bag: I don’t love diaper bags. So instead I carry this bag that I love! I put a container of wipes, diapers and trash bags in the big (wet) pocket. I carry an extra outfit and hat in the front pocket (dry). Then I hang this bag on the stroller or just throw it in my bag when I’m heading out. It’s super convenient and the colors are really fun. Screen Shot 2015-08-20 at 10.56.34 PMZo Li Nail File: Cutting a baby’s nails can be really difficult. First their nails are SO tiny and you have to be extra gentle.  ZoLi Nail Care Set is a battery operated nail trimmer/buffer. It safely trims nails with a gentle yet effective oscillating action. The cushioned pads are specially designed for baby’s nails so it won’t harm surrounding skin. With two different power settings, parents can control the speed. The Nail Care Set includes 1 AA battery, 4 different pads of varying textures (2 infant / 2 toddler) and a compact case for easy portability or storage.  Nail File Zoli

So there you have it, my favorite items for newborns to 3 months old.

A few things I don’t use are a pack n play (with baby #2), wipes warmer or a Diaper Genie.
In my opinion, those weren’t necessary items. For pee diapers we just throw them out in the room trash can and for poop diapers we put them in a plastic bag and take them out with the rest of the diapers.
