Germaine’s Bachelorette

Before my sister, Germaine, got married we spent 4 fun filled days in Mexico for her bachelorette. Day 1

While I flew out of Cali the rest of the girls took a short flight from Florida so they hung out by the pool and went out for dinner. Day 2

I caught up with the girls, got a good night sleep and then woke up to some goodies! My other sister, Osh (and my bed mate for the weekend) and I got our gear on and were ready to start the day. The girls and our gear! Our adventure for the day was a yacht on the Riviera Maya. I got in a cab with my roommates (sis and two cousins) and it began pouring rain!Luckily when we got there the sky cleared up and the sun came out. Got to love tropical weather! However the ocean was super choppy and very windy. Which made for a super cute photo shoot of my cute sis! Love her! After more wind and rough waves I lost my hat and my stomach. It was horrible! I was over the side of the boat the whole time!!! There were two other girls that got sick too but they were able to stop barfing after the initial round.

We finally stopped at our destination for swimming and lunch. G caught us a fish which the crew cooked for lunch. It was delicious!!  While waiting for lunch to be cooked we hung out in the water. G got to use the ring float I bought for her! After taking a couple of pictures of G and freaking out over the huge sting rays (I know I’m a baby) I somehow slipped and fell down the stairs. Unfortunately I went home with a pretty gnarly bruise.

I was ready to go back to some dry land and our new captain was ready to take us home. We got back to our hotel, The Thompson (which was beautiful and highly recommended) to rest and hang out until dinner time.

The sisters! The beautiful bride to be!For dinner we went to Diablito Cha Cha Cha. The food was yummy! After this picture with my sister I got into an argument with her and needed a breather. I met up with the girls in the club later that night, but didn’t take any pics.

We ended the night with a night swim in our clothes. Day 3

We started our day with Starbucks and a walk around the outdoor market. While we waited for the rest of our squad to get ready we took some cheesy cousin pics. Our adventure for the day was a walk through the Maya ruins and swimming in fresh water caves called the Cenotes.

We hired a tour guide for the day to take us on our adventures. We used Mexico Tropical. Our tour guide was amazing! Our first stop was lunch with the best salsa bar ever!! Next up was the Maya ruins. It was beautiful! Totally worth the trip!Next stop was my favorite!!!! The Cenotes! We swam, snorkeled and took in this natural beauty. So so cool!

We ended our adventure tour at the beach with smoothies and more tacos. We got back to our hotel and decided to check out the sunset by the pool. It was a gorgeous view so we took a couple of pics.

We got back to our rooms and got dressed for dinner. The rest of the girls were tired so it ended up being cousin night. Dessert was AMAZING!!!!After dinner we went up to the girls room for a little surprise for G.Day 4

While the girls went downstairs for breakfast I called room service and had some me time. After breakfast we headed over to another Thompson property for some beach time. We enjoyed some sangria and quiet time before our flights back home.   Thank you g for the fun weekend! Cheers!#nachoaveragebach #fiestasiestatequilarepeat
