I made 2 delicious recipes this week!
Baked Ziti by The Cookie Rookie – This ooey, gooey, creamy dish was a family crowd pleaser.
Taco Pasta by Damn Delicious – It was flavorful, fulfilling and was all made in one pot! Glorious!
What I’m reminiscing about…
Sarah just completed her 2nd grade of school which has me reminiscing the first time she went to school. Look how little she was!!!

What I’m loving…
Summer concerts have started! One of my favorite things to do in the summer. This past weekend we met up with friends for a Memorial Day concert at the park.
What we’ve been up to…
It’s garden time! we are a bit late this year, but we got our plants a few days ago and are ready for some yummy summer crop.
What I’m dreading…
My nephews growing up without me seeing them everyday. Living far from family is hard stuff!
What I’m working on…
Sarah says she wants to bake on a kids baking show (our favorite) so to prepare her she made chocolate chip cookies from ALL BY HERSELF FROM SCRATCH. So proud of her!
What I’m excited about…
I got to go on my 1st class trip with Sarah. Having a baby brother with no family around I was never able to join Sarah. Thankfully this year he goes to preschool so mama got to hangout at the Zoo. We even got to feed the giraffe!!
What I’m watching/reading…
Does anybody watch Good Girls? The ending was not predictable at all! Ps I love Rio & Beth together!

It’s been crazy weather over here. One day it’s winter and raining and the next day it’s summer and we are in the pool. Crazy stuff over here!

Lot’s of fun stuff planned: school Shabbat dinner, drive in movie with the kiddos, a baking class and a beach day.
What I’m looking forward to next month…
Our summer trip to Vegas. I know, I know it’s weird to think about taking kids to Vegas but if you’ve been reading for a while you know we find non-Vegas things for the family to do while we are in Vegas.
What else is new…
We recently went to an Israel festival and I got to ride a camel! Eek so exciting! Which reminds me I need to blog about that.
