Hubby and I went to a wedding this week. Hanging out with him is my FAVORITE.TWO

Sarah was the Star Student last week. She brought home her poster and asked for a picture with it. Between the wind and the rolled up poster we had some laughs getting this picture. Laughing with my kids is my FAVORITE.THREE

I’ve been feeling pretty blah this week so when hubby told me he was running behind at work I asked my friend, Erin to watch my kiddos while I go to my Yoga class. Yoga is my FAVORITE. Thank you Erin I owe you one!FOUR

We played with bubbles this week at Mommy and Me. Seeing the kids running around trying to catch the bubbles was super sweet. These little moments with Jacob are my FAVORITE. FIVE

Brunch is my FAVORITE meal of the day. So after I volunteered in Sarah’s class I took myself out to brunch. I got a power grain bowl with 2 fried eggs, harissa sauce, and sauteed kale. Yum!! Happy Friday, friends!

It’s been a crazy month. I locked my self out of the house 2x, I got t-boned, and bit all my nails off from all the craziness. So happy it’s February!

We started the week off with a TuBishvat festival. We made fruit kabobs, stomped grapes, made pita and planted flowers. Festivals are our FAVORITES.

See past festivals we’ve attended below.

Avocado Festival

If you know me personally you know how much I love love my Game Boy. In fact I still have and play with my original Game Boy from the 90’s. So when I saw that you can get a cover for your phone and still play my beloved game I was super excited. How cool!!!? Totally my FAVORITE this week!THREE
Even though I speak Hebrew I (unfortunately) don’t speak enough of it with my kids. So when my friend told me about a class that was forming for elementary school aged kids in the area I jumped on the opportunity and signed Sarah up. She came home this week with this Tu Bishvat treat and I almost teared up. Seeing her learn Hebrew is my FAVORITE. FOUR

This week we celebrated a Jewish holiday, Tu Bishvat. It’s one of my FAVORITE holidays. We invited friends for a yummy meal.  FIVE

I was recently contacted by a company to showcase my easy zucchini fritters. Yay, can’t wait to share more news with you! Requests to share my love for food are my FAVORITE. Happy Friday, friends!

Sarah has become quite the accessorize queen. On this day she is wearing a unicorn headband, kitty knee high socks and a princess necklace. FOUR

Hubby worked late a couple times this week so it was just me and the kiddos. I needed a minute so I asked Sarah if she would read a bed time book for Jacob. I walked in and found them like this. Sweet loves!FIVE

While trying on costumes the other day, Jacob spotted his favorite BLUE engine, Thomas.I’m loving my BLUE tassel earnings I got while In Florida last month. What I’m looking forward to next month…

Showering my sister, Germaine, at her bridal shower. We have a lot of fun things planned! Thankful for Pinterest board and lot’s of pins! What else is new…

I got a little gift the other morning. It made me smile! Question of the month is: What are you best back to school lunch ideas and/or tips.

I’m not one of those moms that makes fancy lunches. My daughter gets a sandwich, a carb (chips, crackers, or bar), a fruit (cut up fruit or pouch) and something fun (fruit snacks, a cookie, a leftover candy from a party, etc).

I do have one tip to share. squirt lemon juice on sliced apples and place in baggie in the fridge. It saves it from getting brown and tastes even sweeter. Happy Wednesday!

Show & Tell Tuesday – Best Day Ever

I’m linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday.

The theme this week is…Best Day Ever.

This theme can go two ways. I can go down memory lane or share what my perfect day would be like. With school starting I’ve been thinking a lot about my kids and reminiscing their baby days. So I’m choosing to go down memory lane.

Best Day Ever #1 – Marrying my love.

I don’t talk a lot about him on here, but marrying this guy was my best day ever. Best Day Ever #2 – Sarah’s birth.

Yes, marrying my love was a big deal, but truly the best day ever was when they laid my baby girl in my arms. It was a magical day that I will never forget. Read more about Sarah’s birth story here.

Best Day Ever #3 – Jacob’s birth.

My 3rd best day ever was when my little guy was born. I gave birth to him as a nervous wreck. He came out bloody and not breathing well. What felt like forever was actually just minutes until I got to hold my second baby in my arms.  BEST DAY EVER! Happy Tuesday, friends!
