The MOXI museum is located in Santa Barbara where this kid friendly museum focuses on Science and creativity.
We touched, played, danced and even recorded a song.
Floor 1 also had an outdoor space. The kids played with magnates and different forms of air.
My favorite room was the light room! We payed with a ginormous Lite Brite wall, magnatiles, and designed on the projector.
We also got to build and race the cars we built.
This outdoor space is a great place for the kids to run around, play with the musical pieces of art, check out the look out tower for different parts of the city, and play with water (which we later found out we were not supposed to go inside. Oops!).
It’s a great day when 2 out 4 kiddos pass out as soon as we get in the car.

Last Spring hubby and I had an open weekend so we took the kids to Mt. Frazier to play in the snow. Got to love So Cal! One minute you are at Malibu beach and then the next your driving to the mountains to play with snow.
I spy snow covered mountains.
Two hours later we made it to the mountain. We suited up and hit the fresh powder.
I love the snow! The crisp air, the huge trees, the adventure.
We grabbed our sled and took turns going down the mountain.
Having fun with my girl!
While Jacob and I did a couple of snow angels, Sarah drew in the snow.
Do you want to build a snowman?
Thanks for the fun memories Mt. Fraizer! Until next time.
You know it’s time to blog about your adventures with kids when your friends ask you for fun things to do with their kids on the weekends. Even though I’ve blogged about each adventure separately, I thought a list with all of our favorites on one page would be more helpful. I’ll even update this list with upcoming adventures.
