My tribeGrowing up I always had a core group of friends. In fact I still see some of my best friends when I go back home to visit.IMG_6583Moving out to So Cal was hard. I didn’t have any friends, my family lived far away and I just had a baby. Thanks to the internet and some loving people, Sarah and I met a group of moms formerly called, First Time Moms. Now that most of us have a second kid we have renamed the group to Fun Toddler Moms.

I met these group of girls when Sarah was only 6 months old.IMG_0259 group  Fav GroupgroupIMG_1763 - groupIMG_0766 - group

We’ve gone vacations together, spent the holidays together and even visited each other at the hospital when a new baby was born.IMG_2860IMG_7026 IMG_0145 - moms13599869_10157212927285571_2040552475929309385_nIMG_6490 - FTMI’ve grown up with these moms. I’ve become a better mom because of these moms.

This is my tribe.

With family and in laws living far away, I’ve had to lean on my tribe quite a bit. Thank you girls for being there for me. Your friendships mean the world to me! I love all the memories we’ve made together, the laughs and even the tears.

I am so thankful to have met you almost 5 years together!

Thanks to Sarah’s preschool, I am fortunate to have met another group of friends. Even though I’ve only know them for two years, I can tell these girls are going to be in our lives for many more years. After having contractions in the middle of the night, it was a Julie, a preschool mom I called. Since then they have been amazing to me and my family. Between picking up and dropping Sarah off, waiting after school with Sarah while I was running late and even giving me a ton of their baby stuff. IMG_7474 - bestIMG_8395IMG_7955IMG_9480

Thank you girls for you all your help, but most of all thank you for your friendship. Glad our girls met so we could become friends.

I love my tribes! I wouldn’t be the mom I am today without them.

Do you have a tribe? Link up with us here. I’d love to read all about them.
