After sharing my Netflix and Chill series last year, it is time for an update.

Hubby and I LOVED Schitt’s Creek. It was absolutely hilarious!! It’s an easy watch (only 22 minutes per episode) and always leaves us smiling. If you haven’t seen it already then here’s a recap. The show is about a formerly wealthy family called the Rose Family who are forced to relocate to Schitt’s Creek, a small town they once purchased as a joke. Now living in a motel, Johnny Rose (Eugene Levy) and Moira Rose (Catherine O’Hara) along with their adult children, David (Dan Levy) and Alexis (Annie Murphy) must adjust to life without money and with each other.

This is a total chic flick! I watched the whole season in just a few days. It’s light and sweet. Here a recap; Sweet Magnolias follows three South Carolina childhood besties, as they go through the complexities of romance, career, and family.

Another chick flick series I watched was Virgin River. It’s basically a long Hallmark movie and I loved every minute of it. Here’s a recap: Virgin River is about Mel, who answers an ad to work as a midwife in a town called Virgin River, thinking it will be the perfect place to start fresh.

I used to love reading The Babysitter Club as a kid, so when my 9 year old started reading them last year I was super excited. Now the series is on Netflix! Here’s a recap; The series follows the friendship and adventures of five middle-schoolers as they start a babysitting business in their hometown.

In The Dark was a favorite last time and it’s back for a 2nd season! I love crime thrillers, but without all the gore and this show is just that. Here’s a recap; A blind woman named Murphy, drifts through life in a drunken haze. She has only two friends Jess, her understanding roommate, and Tyson, a teenage drug-dealer who saved her from a violent mugging. Out for a walk with her guide dog, Pretzel, she stumbles upon a corpse that must be Tyson’s, but it disappears before the police arrive. When they do not seem inclined to investigate, Murphy clings onto the only thing that can keep her together: figuring out what happened to her friend Tyson.

I don’t like anything too graphic, but after hearing about Fauda non-stop, hubby and I started watching the series. There were a few times we wanted to stop watching due to the graphic context, but once we got over the fact that this is really happening in Israel we watched more and finished the series. I’m glad we did. Sure some things are overly dramatized, but reading how bad it is by the Gaza strip is hard, but watching it is a whole other ball game. Here ‘s a recap; an Israeli television series based on a story of Doron, a commander in the Israel Defense Forces and his team as they pursue a Hamas arch-terrorist known as “The Panther.”

I was hesitant to watch Workin’ Moms at first since 9/10 times it’s about a cheesy cliche of moms. I’m so happy I was wrong. This show is hilarious!!! Even hubby started watching it with me mid-season. It’s a show of 4 moms, Kate, Anne, Frankie and Jenny who meet at a Mommy and Me class. These 4 mamas are working moms, but all with their own struggles, life accomplishments, partners and children. They tackle hot topics like nursing, cheating, education, and roles. Highly recommend as we all have a little of us in all 4 characters.
