As a pasta loving family I’m always looking for healthier ways to replace pasta in my recipes. We’ve tried whole wheat and didn’t love it. We’ve tried spaghetti squash and although we liked it, it didn’t give us that pasta feeling we crave.

Thanks to Explore Asian Bean Pastas we have found that pasta taste we crave!organic_pasta_pack_lg__45984.1411512882.730.502Made with only organic beans and water, Explore Asian’s bean pastas cook in just minutes and are packed with 25 grams of protein and 12 grams of fiber per serving. They’re also Gluten-free and available in five tasty flavors that the whole family will love—Black Bean Spaghetti, Edamame Spaghetti, Adzuki Bean Spaghetti, Soybean Spaghetti, and Mung Bean and Edamame Fettuccine.

We first tried Mung Bean and Edamame Fettuccine for lunch one day.IMG_0345Just like regular pasta we boiled water and then added the pasta.IMG_03498 minutes later we had our pasta.IMG_0350I added olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder.

It was absolutely delicious! Even my 4 year old liked it!

I had it again for lunch one day with some leftover chicken and homemade pesto. Yum!IMG_0460
Thanks Explore Asian Bean Pastas for the healthy alternative. Can’t wait to try the other flavors!
